What is Osteopathy | Part 2

Delta Osteo - Athletes doing dumbell exercises

What is Osteopathy? Rather, how do I practice Osteopathy?

In Part 1, we explored the hands-on component of my Osteopathic practice. In Part 2, we will discuss movement.

I have a serious passion for strength/power training, yoga, running and exercise physiology/programming. The truest principles and concepts are universal, but the application is unique for each person.

Combining manual therapy and movement education has been the X-Factor for creating long-term solutions. Part of my detective work involves identifying unhelpful habits, postures and movement patterns that are maintaining your problem.

The Movement Lab is equipped with the essentials for assessing and improving movement skill under load; barbell, kettlebells, a pullup bar and floor space. The beauty of this approach is that it can be scaled down for the injured and deconditioned and scaled up for high level athletes and performance.

I have a serious passion for strength/power training, yoga, running and exercise physiology/programming. The truest principles and concepts are universal, but the application is unique for each person.

In the Movement Lab we help you to move better, understand your body and rehab injury.

By observing and refining your technique, we ensure you are training safely and effectively at home, in the gym or with your usual trainer.

The lessons learned under load translate to your unconscious movement day to day. It’s not about just doing exercise, it’s about learning something you will use for the rest of your life.

I’m here to help everyone to move well consistently, become more resilient and feel great!
